With a couple of small exceptions (gambling/betting and multi-level marketing) EVERY business and every charity of ALL sizes, from single operators to large multinationals - if you're based in Leeds, you're in.

In simple terms, we want you to be the best you possible can be: smarter, more efficient and more streamlined.

We can't teach you how to do your trade - that's your speciality - but we can teach you how to run your business. All the technology, the choices and options.

If every business in Leeds is running efficiently and professionally, then everyone wins.

We're a small group of business professionals based in Leeds who have been working on different aspects of technology for years, building up a wealth of experience and skills. We've got together to share some of that knowledge with a wide audience of our neighbours and friends.

We want to be as inclusive as possible, so we've deliberately set out to become a politics-free zone.

Everyone's got their views and opinions and everyone's entitled to them, but we ask people to keep them elsewhere.

We're looking to raise funding from local and national government to help us run the business side of things. There's funding from Levelling Up budgets, as well as Northern Powerhouse, business development and training, so we're aiming to apply to each of the relevant bodies.

We'd welcome help, so if you know of a possible source of funding, please let us know.

We're looking for experienced leaders from business and government in Leeds to act as Ambassadors for Smarter Leeds. From the business sector, top levels of experience and knowledge is on our list. From the city leaders, we'd like EVERY Leeds MP and key councillor to act as Ambassadors for Smarter Leeds - we're working for your constituents.

We don't care if you're a one-person operation or a big multi-national. You've got skills to share with your neighbours and there are skills in our bank of knowledge that you can benefit from.

Gambling companies and multi-level (network) marketing companies are two groups that we don't feel would be an appropriate fit for Smarter Leeds. We hope you'll understand.
